About this program
Join us for an inspiring four-week journey through Cherished Belonging, The Healing Power of Love in Divided Times by Gregory Boyle, SJ. Fr. Boyle issues a powerful invitation to nurture the connections that are all around us, live with radical kindness, and build the loving community we long to live in.
In weekly gatherings, we will build our own cherished community that engages in thoughtful discussions about lessons from the book and how we can build community around cherishing and belonging. Each session will offer an opportunity to reflect and engage in small and large group discussions.
You are invited to hear Fr. Boyle speak at Seattle Preparatory High School free of charge before the book group begins.

From Paula
Fr. Greg Boyle’s Cherished Belonging is my most gifted book ever. I have listened to it 3 times and gifted 20-25 digital and hardcover copies. The opportunity to facilitate a conversation about it following my first time listening to him in person delights me. There are so many nuggets in his stories. His invitation to find our way to a presence that embodies cherishing and belonging is my theme for 2025. I love facilitating generative and thoughtful conversations and have had the opportunity to do that in my work for 30+ years. I am excited to co-create a welcoming space for dialogue to deepen our understanding and find our own ways to act on our learning.
