Join the Ignatian Spirituality Center for an introductory evening to learn the basics about Ignatian spirituality and prayer. Learn about the practice of discernment, Ignatian tools for reflection, as well as the art of finding God in All Things. About the Presenters

Kathy Collins has been in love with Ignatian Spirituality since her days as a campus minister at Seattle U. She has found God in all things in her life - in work with students, in international service with Maryknoll in Bolivia, in her personal grief, in working with God's beloved at St. Francis House, and delighting in her five grandchildren. She has been a Spiritual Director for 20 years, and is a director in the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL) in Seattle. She is currently the Interim Executive Director at the Ignatian Spirituality Center.

Maria Ochoa Vazquez leads program development for the Ignatian Spirituality Center, helping to bring alive the practices of Ignatian spirituality for seekers of all types. For the last 16 years, Maria has served in many roles focused on providing spiritual formation and leadership development in the Ignatian tradition through programs, retreats, and spiritual direction, including Assistant Director for the Magis Alumni Ministry at Seattle University, and Regional Coordinator of the Contemplative Leaders in Action (CLA) program in Seattle. Maria is a graduate of Gonzaga University with bachelors degree in Art, and holds a Masters in Transforming Spirituality from the School of Theology & Ministry at Seattle University. She is a bicultural/bilingual Mexican immigrant who is an artist and creative, gardener, wife, and mother.

Fr. Mike Bayard, S.J. is a member of the Jesuit West Province.  He serves as Jesuit Assistant for Pastoral and Spiritual Outreach at the Center for Jesuit Education at Seattle University, and Chaplain at the Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative Northwest (JRJI Northwest).

In May 2021, Mike finished seven years at the Jesuits West Provincial Office in Portland where he most recently served as the Provincial Assistant for Mission Integration and Spiritual Ministries; and prior to that as the Socius to the Provincial of the Jesuits West Province.

Fr. Mike is originally from Milwaukee, WI where he entered the Jesuits.  In June 1998 he was ordained a priest and served as associate pastor of Gesu Parish in Milwaukee before moving to Seattle in 2000, where he worked for 14 years in Campus Ministry and Magis:  Alumni Living the Mission at Seattle University.
