About this Program
A Morning Retreat provides an opportunity at mid-winter to gather with others for spiritual renewal and communal prayer. This retreat promises to warm the soul and light the fire of Spirit within each of us as the long nights and cold days pull us inside and away from our faith communities and supportive others. Trusted guides will lead all who gather through personal meditations and quiet reflection. Some time will be shared by the circle of participants who will be gently facilitated in the practice of in-depth sharing and listening to one another.
This retreat welcomes all who long for a time of quiet reflection and communal prayer in the midst of the dark, mid-winter season. The practices of in-depth speaking and listening to others, the use of silence, and the time for contemplation is designed especially for spiritual directors, pastoral leaders, and chaplains along with any who accompany others in their helping professions or personal lives.
