ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
Developing a prayer practice can take time and intention. A little guidance from someone who has experienced the joys and challenges of prayer might just make all the difference. If you are looking for creative ways to grow and enrich your prayer practice, then look no further!
Join the ISC for a four-part series and we will explore together a variety of prayer practices that you can integrate into daily living. Learn and be immersed in practical prayer experiences common in Ignatian spirituality, including:
The Examen of Consciousness
Lectio Divina

Gratitude Practices
Each in-person session includes facilitated learning and conversation with a season facilitator, immersion into the prayer practice, and reflection on the prayer experience as a community. Come and learn what may be your favorite new way to pray.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Corinne Bergmann Pann developed her love of Ignatian spirituality and was introduced to the ISC during her nine years working at Seattle University. During that time, Corinne served three years on the ISC Program Council and was then invited to the ISC Board, where she served on the Strategic Planning Team creating the Strategic Directions that guide the ISC.
Corinne has completed the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL) twice, participated in the Arrupe Seminar learning the history of the Society of Jesus, and has taken part in countless Ignatian spirituality retreats and programs. As a rare Seattle native, she loves the beauty of the Pacific Northwest water and mountains. Her best-loved role is mom to her three children, and she cherishes time with family and friends.
John Hickman’s spirituality centers on living out the call of the Gospel in everyday life. After 25 years in business, he began to explore Ignatian Spirituality, searching his desire to “build God’s Kingdom here and now.” An immersion trip to El Salvador convinced him he needed to work with the poor and vulnerable, which led to working for Catholic Community Services until his retirement. John is a spiritual director working with SEEL (Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life), and has been a frequent presenter for ISC programs. He Chairs the Board for the Intercommunity Peace and Justice Center. John is married, with three grown children, and two grandchildren—Oscar and Francis—who get a ton of John’s attention. His hobbies include golf and bird watching. The first hobby is a total confrontation with oneself, while the second one reveals God’s gift of creation in surprising and wonderful ways.
Fr. Trung Pham, SJ is a Vietnamese-born, Seattle-based artist, educator and ordained Jesuit priest. He received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UCLA. Soon after graduation, he joined the Jesuit order and pursued a career in the arts, earning an MFA in drawing and painting at the Pratt Institute in New York, NY. He received his Master of Divinity and STL in Theological Aesthetics from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, CA. Pham’s immigrant experience and religious devotion have profoundly influenced his artistic practice. Fr. Pham is an assistant professor of fine arts, and chair of the Art, Art History, and Design Department at Seattle University.
Tammy Liddell serves as Executive Director and Community Leader at L’Arche Noah Sealth, a non-profit organization in Seattle, providing housing for people with and without intellectual disabilities in which to live, work and play together as peers. Coming with a rich background of faith-based leadership experience, Tammy also recently served as Director of Campus Ministry at Seattle University. She holds a Masters of Divinity from University of Notre Dame and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Boston College.
